About CTSL · Established 1994
Rooted in Mayaro. Built on experience. Growing with our customers.
Computer Technologies & Services Limited (CTSL) began in 1994 as a small IT business in Mayaro, providing computer sales, training and repairs. Today, we are a 100% Trinidad and Tobago company supporting SMEs, large enterprises, factories and offshore operations.
Our first business contract with Amoco Trinidad Oil Company was signed in December 1995. Service began on 2 January 1996 under a three-month engagement covering 400 Dell computers across Galeota, Port of Spain and offshore locations. It was an important step from serving local technology needs to supporting operations across multiple business and industrial environments.
Evolving with our customers
As technology changed, so did our customers’ requirements. CTSL evolved into a Managed Services Provider, delivering structured Help Desk services, network engineering and data centre support.
In 1998, Amoco recognised CTSL with an IT Innovation Award for our Help Desk model—a milestone in the development of our approach to organised, customer-focused technology support.
Our experience expanded to other major energy-sector customers, including British Gas, where we implemented a gas metering and historian system.
Relationships that span decades
Thirty years after that first Amoco engagement, CTSL continues to service bpTT operations while also working with small and midsized operators. That continuity is an important part of our story: adapting to changing requirements while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Our energy-sector and offshore experience sits alongside our work with businesses of different sizes. From the office to the factory and offshore location, our focus is on understanding the customer’s environment and providing the technology support it requires.
We also proudly serve government agencies involved in port and energy operations.
